The Saartjie Project (TSP) is a theatre ensemble + creative tribe producing and developing theatre through collaborative processes. Operating from a women centered perspective and as members of the African diaspora, the multi-disciplined ensemble explores race, gender and power through storytelling and performance.

TSP's methodology is steeped in Cultural Arts Direct Action; the belief that transformation and justice happens through community-based action, cultural and creative arts.
